Business Phone SystemThe hotel is located in Manhattan, my company takes a small room in the basement of a brownstone in Upper East Side. Because space is so limited, we save our servers and telephone equipment in the boiler room. I know what you think and you are absolutely right. Not a good idea to put the most expensive equipment in a small room that feels like the foyer to hell.

We decided to have our telephone equipment in the boiler room, which seemed to work well despite the circumstances. That was a big mistake.

One day in January when the boiler was running non-stop, went off to our phone system. I never realized the importance of a company’s telephone system could even one day. The loss of the computer for an hour or so was rough, but as we are with our customers over the phone, lose the ability, power, business communication virtually impossible. Some of which had to be replaced. We lost a lot of companies in three days you can imagine. Now is our space is still a bit tense as the equipment of the telephone system was removed from the boiler room.
