Often when it comes to our careers, we are the worst sellers of our abilities and skills. We sell short coming in our ability to see the time, or accept less than the value, for fear that they will find someone. Instead of building up and sell them to the maximum value to accept what they gave us and end doing twice the work for half pay.
One of the most important places you will never sell during the interview process for a new job. It is this process that you exercise to build up and sell their skills to potential employers, giving them the thinking that if they hire someone, but doing it should loose this incredulous talent. Here are some tips you can use on your next call to the interviewer thinks WOW!
Dress for success. Clothes make the man (or woman), and you should dress as if it were interviewed for the position of CEO.
Research the company knows and love from the bottom. During the interview shows that you’ve done your homework, asking questions or comments to a recent release of the company or of the press release.
Ask questions. Most respondents to answer only the questions are presented and never speak. Show the interviewer that you are really in the business and work with questions about the company you is interested in the potential of work and corporate culture.
Bring examples of your work. Want to bring an artist or a computer programmer is a sample of your portfolio of previous work and shares it with the interviewer. Remember an image (or document), a million words.
Be faster than expected. Remember the golden rule is best, three hours earlier than three minutes late. Nobody is someone who can not pay the rent, the interview on time.
Follow-up. Sit around and wait for a letter or phone call. Send you access an accompanying letter once your interest in work and if you are not back in a week the phone and call. What have you got to lose?
